tach not working???

Default tach not working???

so i installed a new motor and my tach is not working...it gives a blip at start up but then stays at zero...

i checked and both the speed sensor and distributor are plugged in great...not sure what else to check?
any ideas....it's an em1 w/ a lsvtec in it and a stock cluster

You have a loose connection somewhere. ECU, shock tower, cluster...

Check them all.

Or you're using an ECU that doesn't drive the tach like the EM1 (99-00 Si, right?) did.

i know the ecu is fine...it's the same one as before that worked fine...i'll look for connections at the ecu....
