has anyone made a custom wastegate dumptube before? they got one on turboulimited.com for $15.00, i dont know if tht would be a good one to get. Or if i should just take it to a shop and get a custom one made. let me know what you think. thks o ya its for a 97 ex

 

No offense, but you're in a welding and fab forum. Most of us make everything but the tubing and flanges we use. Some here even make the flanges.
Making a custom dump tube is probably the most simple thing any of us would do on a turbo setup.
If you have a local shop that can do it, go for it. I'm sure they can make something that will work out great for your setup.

my DP is ful stainless steel. im not much on welding but how would i get a custom dump tube rerouted back in the exhaust? i only have a mig welder, i read that Tig welding is the only way to weld stainless. and can you weld regular exhaust pipe to stainless? any help would be great
