The guy at O'riellys said this should be all I need. He told me this is a electic oil pressure gauge, but it was my impression any gauge with oil coming into the cabin is mechanical.

If this is in fact all I need, then where do I want to wire this line to? I searched, but theres several different answers. Theres the sensor by the VTEC solonoid, and theres the one below the oil filter, all i need is a little pointing in the right direction

I personally wouldn't run something like that...seems like a mess waiting to happen...

at least get a better hose. that stuff is so brittle, i've seen those things break and shoot oil all in the car.

dude its not worth it. get rid of that ****. my car was loosing oil bc of that **** and almost caused it to lock up. not worth it. stick with the stock oil pressure sender unit.

no, actually, the white piece is the gauge. thats why i thought this was a manual gauge, because theres NO sender unit, just that little brittle white hose.

Okay, this seems seriously hard, all I want to do is measure my damn oil pressure. after taking this back, whats my best option?

the best thing to do if you do need to run fluids into the cabin is get a gauge head adapter that makes the back of the gauge a -3 or -4 male fitting, then you can use a generic s/s brake line for the connection. a lil more money on top of the gauge, but its about 99% less likely to leak.
