GSR "snail shell" manifold and boost
I am getting ready to boost my Civic hatch with a JDM B18C already installed. My question is, can I utilize my snail shell manifold and will a tuned ECU (chipped) conversion (P28,etc.) be able to be chipped/programed to accept the dual stage butterflies, and also what about the VTEC setup. I am afraid of boosting because I keep hearing problems with using this manifold as well as boosting ona VTEC setup engine and making it work right. Thanks!
boosting a VTEC engine is NOT a big deal at all...there are a number of people who do it including myself. As for the manifold, i'm not sure i know what you're talking about so a picture would really help

i think u need a chipped p72 from a obd1 gsr if u wanna have control over the butterflies in your stock manifold (snail shell)
the manifold will work ok for boost but somthing like a skunk 2 or victor x would give nice gains later on down the road
