Stick a screw driver at the end of the spark plug wire. Put the screw driver really close but not touching the chasis. Have a friend crank the car, you should see a spark. The firing order is 1342 layout on the dizzy is:
34
12
34
12
Not the engine. I don't think the valve cover is a good conductor. Put the screw driver by the fender/anything that is metal and conducts electricity ( just DON'T put it on the battery).
One question. you did install the transmission grounding cable, right?

Install the ground cable on the transmission. It will cause really weird issues if its not connected. I left it off last time and the starter wouldn't even crank.
i installed the cable but still nothing it just cranks and its backfiring i think.
whats the order on the dizzy for a gsr.
from where i am looking at it from the wheel well.

set timing marks for t-belt , take off cap . rotor will be pointing toward number one terminal on cap firing order is 1342 in clockwise order standing on pass side of car looking at distributor. ck plug wires now to make sure on correct, also check groung near thermostat housing, as well as ground on valve cover..
also check plugs to make shure not gas fouled , if wet , dry them off , and crank motor over without plugs in cyl. for few seconds ,to dry cylinders
i checked all of those things and still it just cranks and wont turn over i have no i dea what it is
i bought a new starter also hoping that was the problem nope
i tore down the dizzy everything is good
swaped ignitor the coil the rotor the shaft

if code is for tw sensor { under dist, two wire plug} it will be hard to start and wont run worth dam till warm, cutting off etc. like posted , get idle and check ign timing with timng light , tw sensor like 30 bucks at honda
assuming this problem wasnst there before trans swap , make shure you didnt just pull wires out out the rtw sensor plug.. maybe try another dist
i changed everything ouit and it is still the same thing
i mean everything inside the dizzy.
except the sensors.
then i tried advancing the timing. on the dizzy and it feels alittle better but still no vtec and still lagging.
i took of the ect sensor and oil came out.
i dont know if there is suppossed to be water or oil but im confused.
i dont know if i should just buy a new dizzy or it might be something else
