Default Bolt-ons

Just wondering if anyone has installed a header and or down pipe, CAI or SRI, and if so are you getting a CEL? I'm considering buying a Fit Sport and if I do would like to install I/H/E, but don't want them to cause problems.

I have a Catback and SRI and no CEL so far. Header and Test pipe is next. I really don't think you'll be geting any CELs from bolt on s though

it will most likely come from a test pipe since the o2 sensor will be reading more

Doesnt the new Si have a MAF? I think it does and if a CAI doesnt account for that...well I bet you get a CEL

Quick question, I'm in the body shop business, so some of this stuff is foreign to me. Is a test pipe and down pipe the same thing? Or is a down pipe similar to a b-pipe? I'm just confused at what you need to have a full exhaust, header, b-pipe, axle back? or header, down pipe, cat back? Sorry I'm an idiot sometimes.

Header, downpipe or test pipe your choice of nomenclature, CAT , b pipe, axle back. Down pipe or test pipe are the same thing but a test pipe gets rid of the cat and is illegal on the road so it's called a "TEST pipe" so they can be sold for "Testing" off road only.

the test pipe is the one that usually brings the CEL. I'm not sure but there may be an O2 sensor there. Spark plug defouler should clear it up though.
