Default 99 si interior conversion problem

Im helpin my brother convert his 98 dx interior to a 99 si interior. We put everything in, the whole interior harness and everything, and now the fuel pump wont kick on. Any tips on how to trouble shoot this? (the fuse is not blown)

do you hear the fuel pump prime before you turn the motor on? check the connections at the fuse box under dash, make sure the harness close to the drivers seat is connected completely (i had a short here when i swapped harnesses), and check the connections on top of the fuel tank, make sure they are all tight and snug

i did recheck the connections on top. it doesnt prime. i guess i will recheck all the wiring to the fuel pump

any other ideas?

open up the wires and check the wirings. check the ground wire. maybe the ground wire is not connected. thats what happen to me when i was doing my fog lights. Ground wire came off. i put in a new relay too. so it must be the ground wire

the 99 floor harness doesnt directly connect to any of the 98 harness' or anything so you obviously had to repin the plugs or do a cut and splice job. simply put something was screwed up or if you used crimp connectors then you have a bad connection.
double check everything and i bet you find the problem. mainly the large clip where the floor harness connect to the front cabin harness.

you should have a crash sensor and if that sensor went off it disconnects the power to the fuel pump. with the key in the on position check for power at the fuel pump. if theres no power then the sensor probably went off and you have to reset it.

we replaced the whole interior harness, we changed everything, dashboard and all. everything plugged right in.

we checked for power to the pump, all the sensors were getting power but the actual pump wasnt.

how do i reset this crash switch? the car that all of this came from was in a pretty bad accident
