99 ex coupe engine harness
obd1 conversion
jdm gsr ecu


problem
car is cranking but no spark , no fuel pump
when i turn the key to the on (III) I only get a oil light on my cluster my main relay doesn't click 2 times like it should


got a brand new main relay from honda yesterday check all my engine grounds and use sand paper on the ground for good contac and nothing I need steps and procedure on how to find out whats wrong

if it doesn't click twice then that means the fuel pump dosent prime, check if the pump is getting voltage, and also check the fuel pump relay as for the spark check your coil, cap, and rotor good luck

where is the fuel pump relay located ? u mean the main relay ? btw i will test my dizzy with my friends car tomorrow

Either the underdash or the engine bay...not sure

also don't forget to check your fuses. that can be your problem.

ow and btw on those 2 dead end plugs behind the manifold wich one is the one thats suppose to have the cap ??????? u know the dead end plugs?

dead end plugs right behind the intake mani there are 2 of them with a bunch of yell/black wires coming out of it

Those aren't dead end plugs. They are "junction connectors". One of them distributes power to several wires, the other ground. The caps must be plugged in.

What are the wire colors going into each connector? Does one have Yel/Blk wires while the other uses Grn/Blk wires? If yes, then cap both. One is for grounds and the other is for power.

Get a Helms - it helps here.

if you look behind the glove box. right above the ECU. you will see a small black box (relay) thats your main fuel pump relay. my friend had same problem and he replaced it and that was it.

check the conversion harness.. maybe you got the wrong one.. check if all the wire from the car is conected to some wire on the harness. if you got your car harness conected to the empty spot on the conversion harness email me and i show u some pic...

Both junction connectors should have caps. It's the cap that completes the circuit.

only one have the cap, I'am 100 % sure that thats my problem i will see whats up today after I get off work

well today i try to start it i didnt want to get deep in to it since is damm cold and my car is under the snow soo icant really work on it

i try that cap thing and now I can heard the fuel pump and the 2 clicks I didnt want to crank it bc is open header
