My cousin has a 2001 acura CL type-s and we cant find anything for his car besides a header. Any one know anything????

xs headers are dirt cheap and good quality. just make sure to replace the bolts before installing. They are about $135 and the make a good 20+ WHP.

Inatke adds nice sound and gains some power. name brands are expensive in the $300 range.

Comptech supercharger. Comptech is going out of business so if you want a new one better buy one up quick.

there are tons of companys that offer springs and shocks.

 

headers add approximately 40 crank HP to your CL type S or about 30WHP..

if comptech's site is still up you can get the dyno numbers there

 

yeah i know its 30 whp. but i was being generous and didnt want any fights to start saying thats not true. Yes comptech headers do make 30whp+ they are also $1200.

But people have seen the same results with the xs. which are the $130.

 

Tell him to save the money for the towing bill when his tranny gives out and its not under warranty anymore....lol.

 

yeah or he can switch to 6spd.

I will admit though...i do miss mine sometimes...damn that tranny for ruining such an awesome car. Truth be told, i never cared for the sound of the car after exhaust was added, the intake was plenty for the growl and the car has enough power to be useful in a FF platform stock...i drove my friends s/c'ed CL-S and i dont see how anyone would want to drive that on the street.
