I was driving home tonight and I was in VTEC and all of a sudden my motor loses power and my foot is still on the gas pedal. When the RPM's dropped to about 4 the motor starts running again. Its like if I took my foot off the gas pedal. The check engine light came on and I dont know how to check it without the OBD2 reader. So I took it easy on the way back but then I tried to hit VTEC again. As soon as it got to about 5 RPM's the car started to bog. Like it wouldnt go past 5 RPM's. So what could the problem be? And how much do you think its going to be to fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

u hit limp mode go check your check engine light probably a sensor got disconnected or something along that line
