Hi all,


I've owned an A'pexi WS exhaust for my '99 Civic EX for about a year now, and the thing rattles like a bastard. At first I thought it was just rattling against my gas tank, but now I'm thinking it might be a resnonance in the exhaust. Has anyone else had this problem with theirs? I bought it from a guy who had sold his car and never installed it. The "instructions" sad 92-95 Civic EX/Si, his was a 2000 Si I believe, but regardless I think the exhausts are universal from 92-00 correct? Anyone have a fix to the rattle?

Check heatshields for debris?

 

No it should be the hangers hitting the bumper. That's what it was on my eg6. I just taped some rubber to the bumper and it stopped.

 

No debris.

I ran a search and found I'm not the only one with this problem. Thumbs down to Apexi for this problem.

Anyone have a quick fix besides header wrap? I have some rubber sheets that I tried wrapping around and it didn't fix it.
