i have a ek hatch and as you know, both sensors are close by each other. is there a way you can tell which plug (on engine harness) is the one for primary or secondary. thanks

Primary is the top one before the cat, and secondary is under the cat, which is mainly for emmisions testing reasons. The primary one helps aid the motor in correcting its air\fuel ratio by measuring the burn in the exhaust.

Since you have the Y7 motor, the CAT is on the header itself, just behind the radiator, so they arent too hard to reach.

 

YUp, Primary is the top one.

i know that the top o2 sensor is the primary....but the problem is which plug on ENGINE HARNESS is for which o2 sensor??

Can someone post a pic of the o2 sensor 1 in bank 1, which says input voltage too low.

This is a civic LX, it has 2 o2's. 4 wires each.
Got a code P0131. Input voltage from o2 sensor 1 in bank 1 is too low for current conditions. Retards cant put in in plain terms haha, anwyay....It says closest to the cylinder head b4 the cat converter. Not sure which of the 2 is this loc talking bout.

Actually I checked both, they are within reach, each one had 4 wires. My old civic only has one wire.

And a Wht/Red wire too.

BOTH of them have a Blk/Yel and Blk/Wht though.

 

i gotta go get a socdket to get this thing off, seems all rusted, any advice on removing it?
