Default Increase wheel offset

Hey everyone! I currently bought 18 x7.5, +42mm, 4 x114.3 wheels. My problem is, now the wheels are sticking out past the fender a tad bit. Is there a way to increse the offset of the wheel by having it shaved down to a +48 offset or way to decrease the thickness of the hub on my rotors? I own a 2000 Honda Accord Ex/2dr. I would like the wheels to be slightly sunken in the fender well or at least flush with it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone knows of any shop in the San Diego or Los Angeles area that could help me out please let me know. Thanks

You could roll/pull the fenders, run a little bit negative camber, or run a narrower tire setup to make them fit better.

is the car lowered cuz that offset sounds very modest to me. what size tires are you running?

My car isnt't lowered yet because I believe my wheels may rub up against the fender. Im using 225/40 -18 tires. And i'm planning on purchasing some Tein Type Basic coilovers. Btw, when looking at my car from the front my wheels stick out about 1/4". Appreciate the help guys...keep em coming. thanks.

You're better off with 215/45-18.

only reason i used those tires is because they came on the rims when i bought new from the showroom.
