Default free honda 40pt inspection results.. and some ?'s

so heres a scan of my results..

i know about the front pads and rotors. i'm probably just going to get power slots and pads. I just don't know where to buy them for a good price.

my question is where should I get the front CV boots for cheap and what the hell is the trans seal?

Most likely that means you have bad axle seals, they're easy to replace.

Get cv boots from pepboys or something, they're pretty generic.

The CV boots are on the axels, you need to remove them to replace the boots. It isn't that hard of a job just VERY messy. You can pick up all 4 boots for $40-$50 and do the job yourself in an afternoon by following the service manual. That price is rape.

what seal is the "trans seal" specific to? because there are numerous seals it could be.

If you driving with ripped boots for some time already I would recommend new axles or I paid around $150 to completely rebuild both axles with half shaft together. I forgot how insane the prices in dealer could be.

The 'trans seal' could be the driveshaft oil seal on the passenger side transmission casing. They could be factoring that it might be damaged when they take the passenger side axel out to replace the boot, its a $20 part. Look in the service manual under transmission then 'oil seal removal' and 'oil seal installation'.
