Help Needed
Hey, i was just trying to fix my car's (1991 Acura Integra Rs) timing problem the other day, and i was reading a forum on how to fix it. Basically it stated to open the passenger's side kick panel, and to find a green/white wire and a brown wire, then to bridge the connections. After that it said start the car up and loosen the distributor bolts, then adjust by "advancing" and "retarding" it. When i "advanced" it just a bit, the car was struggling and just shut off. Then i went in the car to start it again, but when i tried starting it, it wudint even start and you cudint hear the car's crank or ignition at all. The only thing it did when i turned the key was that all the lights in the cars gauge cluster wud light up and nuthing would happen. So i "unbridged" the connection in the passenger side kick panel, and tried doing it again but the same thing happened... does any1 know how to fix this problem?
What you did should not have affected the ability of your starter to crank. Check your fuses and battery connections. Does the starter even click when you turn the key?
I checked every single fuse in the engine bay and the driver side fuse box.. I have no idea wat the hell is wrong wit my car, and when i DO press the hazard signal lights, it makes a *tick tik tik tik* sound in the gauge cluster...electronically my car is fucked, but i need to know why it's it like this so i can get my baby back on the road
