Default immobilizer problem? help please

My car would not start this morning and im looking for opinion on how to troubleshoot it. The problems start it last week but I would wiggle the battery cables and the car would crank. I though that was the problem so I replace the +/- cables. The problem is as follows : I put the key and try to crank up but the panel would not come on. It would try and crank and it would make the effort but it will not start. Like something is preventing the car to start. Whenever I got to key I cant turn the wipers on, the front light ect. I took out the immobilizer and try to crank it up with a screw driver and it still would not turn on. Im listening to suggestion. Could it be the key? Or the battery? Or the immobilizer? . let me know thanks.

check to verify that your grounds are good by the immoblizer. Also verify that your key is entering the key way completely as well.

WHAT KIND OF CAR?

If the immobilizer is preventing the start you will have a solid or blinking green key light on the dash.

Sounds more like a power/ground/ign. switch issue

Try to put the key in turned to the run position and jump the ignition switch (hot wire it). If and only if you have a wiring diagram and know what youre doing.

Its a 2000 prelude. I got it running this morning. The ground cable had burnt and I had a fuse that melted. It seems im having an electrical issue somewhere in the car.
