okay im not good with electrical... but is there a way to check the main relay if its good, bad, or going bad. maybe by hooking a voltmeter to it or somthing and checking the numbers, amperage, or whatever its called in the electrician world.

the main relay controls your fuel pump. you should be able to hear the fuel pump prime and you should hear the main relay click aswell. here the a site that is really informative.

Sometime you know its on its way out when your car is hot and you can't start it but when its cool it'll start up fine.

awesome site tells you almost everything you need to know about the main relay. even has a trouble shooting diagram. after going through it i think i just may be my main relay. i just need to find another one to swap it out with and see how that goes.

 

its really easy to fix. just check the picture and stuff on how the cracks looks like. you save money by just resolidering it, do you have pictures of the main relay?? i'll tell you it its good or not, the crack is very visible.
