GSR swap wont start!!! Please Help!
I swapped a gsr into my 93 si and everything went fine until i connected my battery and realized that the 2 wires that connect to the starter were touching when it started cranking over on its own without the key. Afterwards i fixed the wires and it wont crank over it just makes some sort of sound but no cranking. Any input is greatly appreciated.
Things i tried:
1)distributor coil from obd-2 gsr distro
2)obd-2 gsr starter
3)new battery cable to starter
Still wont start

No crank and a funny noise... hmm...
Maybe a starter solenoid?
Personally, if you can find another starter at a scrap yard, (for cheap) maybe try that.

ok starter is workin fine and turning motor over its just not firing over, almost as if there were no spark plugs. I think its the wiring harness but not too sure. Is every wire going to the distro plugs supposed to have power or only one of them?
Make sure you have enough grounds, and if you have all the stock ones in place add on or two more. Make sure the valve cover is gounded.
