ok friends car wont start after gsr swap.. where can i start to look?
ok my friend just put in a gsr swap into his eg cx.. it started up once... but was spitting out fire.. and now that he tried to start again.. theres nothing.. not even a cranking noise when u turn the key... where can i help him start looking? thanks

If theres no cranking, that means your starter isnt being powered. You might want to start by checking all the fuses under the hood and under the dash. My money would be on a fried ignition fuse under the hood, its the big green one thats screwed in.

Grab a voltmeter and check the starter. That's where I'd start. Maybe somthing got caught in the firewall...take a step back and think about all the steps you did. I do my best thinking after a few coctails. Did you try the battery??? I'm sure you did, but just gotta make sure.

checked the battery its ok, checked the fuses its ok, ran direct power to the starter from the battery and it still wouldn't crank over.... i guess i'm going to replace the starter and see how it goes..
