d15b8 idea
ok so i just picked up a 94 honda civic hatch cx all stock 70bhp. i had a 93 hatch it was also a cx. to that car i did i/h/e and im going to say i got her up to around 75-80hp which i no this motor is meant for mpg but still noone likes driving a 70hp car. I dont have the money to swap a b series in so i started thingin about what i could do do let this little b8 live. I did some research and it seems alot of people have this problem. Im buying a y8 motor and im building that its going to stay n/a though. And in the mean time i was thinking about putting a d15b7 or a6 pistons and head on the b8. so my question for you guys is. Is the block and different from the b7 or a6 to the b8. Do you think it is a good idea to do this? How much do you think i could get out of it? i also and thinking about putting in a y8 hydo tranny also. This is only to last me tell i build up the y8. Any ideas are welcome
i am going to build a y8 im building the head with all skunk2 parts and im not sure about pistons and what not but that will all take awhile i just want somthin for now
