Default H22A Oil Pump ( Turbo ) Question ...

I currently have my motor out of the car so I was thinking of changing the oil pump while I am at it. Now I do plan on boosting later on but for no more than about 300 to 400 Hp. Will the stock pump be good for this or should I get an aftermarket one?

What about those toga oil pumps for the H22 - anyone used them?

Circuitworx gear set - any experiences?

Prodrive gear set - anyone ?

Thanks.

i would think you would need one hell of a setup to suffice getting an aftermarket pump.

all gears are just as good if you want extra insurance all of those brands mentioned are precision products...just make sure your internals are strengthened and professionally balanced or that oem pump will take a **** kicking...

Yeah I gotta agree with you on that one and yeah my setup is gonna be nothing too crazy (my goal is 300 to 400 Hp and I would be happy ) so stock should be good, besides it is a Honda and although I am not doing this right away - its nice to know now so I can be prepared for it when the time comes

unless you are going to convert to a external oil pump system stick with oem if the pump is going to take a dump it doesnt matter what brand you got it is history
