Would it be a good thing to put a b20 block on a type R i plane to bore it out to a 2.1-2.2 what approach should i take to if i do put a b20 block it

Depends on what you are trying to do. B20 sleeves are weak and it better to get them sleeved but you can sleeve a LS block do do the same thing

If you are going to bore that big you will need to resleeve. Just about any B-series block will work then.

If you building it just use a gsr block(same thing as ITR) or an LS block sleeve either one doesnt matter since your going to build it, well if your doing crank pistons rods. Or you could got the cheaper route GSR block and i think ls crank and rods with oversied itr pistons makes good power

you're going to need a very big bore if you want that much displacement. might even need to stroke it too.
