Default radio install help

i am puttin a radio in my crx and i cant find a accessory wire. i have tried all the wires and none of them work. i wired the radio directly to the battery and it works but i need to find an accessory wire so it will turn off when the car does. on the diagram it says the blue/white wire is the switched 12v and the yellow/red is the constant but it doesnt work when wired like that. i was gonna wire it to the power wire going to the fuel pump because it turns off when the car does. any suggestions to help?

what happened to the stock wiring harness? It would be attatched to that . . . if you're using that harness it's definitely a fuse or the wire is compromised somewhere. If you're not using the factory harness, what are you using?

use a test light and find an empty slot or tap into the opposite side radio fuse under the dash. tap into the side that doesnt get power so the power passes through the fuse first then the wire. to tap in...expose some wire at the end and wrap it around one side of the fuse then push it in. easy way to do it
