Default vtec DONT WORK

i have a 95 honda civic with a h22a1 swap and my tach and speed govonor and vtec stoped working over a period of time what could be the problem every thing else works perfect and its not throwing any codes?

Sounds like you could have a ground problem....

Did you do the swap yourself?? I'm basically asking do you know anything about this car at all. Because if you don't you might as well take it to a shop.

make sure you have oil...you can clean the solenoid and top the oil pressure switch of with oil. other than that a bad ground like mgags7 said.

....or having it hooked up to the intake secondaries lol

no cels? :/

start with easy stuff...oil, clean and test vtec pressure switch and solenoid, grounds, wire continuity...

Hell last summer after I did my swap the grommet on the firewall where we ran the vtec wires through leaked a little onto my ecu, causing it to short or something. it caused all kinds of problems...
