spods are in the rollbar hoops and enable you to put any component speaker in them. I've had them in my S for years and they helped immensely while driving with the top down.

I have seen them sold elsewhere, but I am personally not interested in them cause they look like they couldnt house but a 4 inch speaker or so, and cost $400? No thanks. You could custom fab something up, or just buy S-pods for like $250

Which, I suppose you still have to buy a speaker to fit in, but you can put whatever 5.25" and tweeter that you want in them...

Hey if you dont have anything helpful to post ..then why post?
All i want to know is if the oem headrest speakers that i inherited are any good, or should i toss them or change out the speakers inside there casing with something better.
PS. I do understand that others are under no obligation to help.....but it is a little frustrating when you cant get any infomation on something..even honda will not list whats inside there speakers
Cheers!

don't be a douche. you are obviously not following your own advice. if you have spods why dont you take the cover off and read whats on the speaker and tell us what you find? As opposed to crying about someone else not doing it for you.
