Default components or co axials?

Are components a lot better than co axials? I plan on upgrading my speakers in a few months. Anyone know the size of integra tweeters? I want to use the stock location. And what kind of amp should I get? 2 channel and run the power from the head unit to the rear speakers? I plan on getting a mono amp and a sub for it. Thanks.

Are components better then coax? Although there are lots of coax and point source, [like a coax but with an off board x-over] that are better then some components, components are way more flexible, and if you have the oem teg components, then that is what I would replace them with, [aftermarket components not the oem components]
If the oem tweeters are the ARs its probably a 1"soft dome, the speaker is about 2"in diam.
The size of the amp will depend on what speakers you get, the speakers you get will depend on the music you listen to and how loud you want it to be, and yes a 2ch for the fronts, and using the HU for the rear fill will work, if however you end up with component speakers that have "Bi Amp" capabilities you may want to look in to a 4ch. amp. 94

Thanks for the quick response. So the integra rear speakers are 6.5 i believe. I think they are blown. Will I even hear the rear speakers when I get a sub and components? Or should I just get some low priced speakers for the rear? Thanks.

If it's a hatch, like my 94, yes they are 6.5", and no, you should not hear the rear speakers, in fact I would not install anything with a tweeter back there, rear fill should only be there to help bring the front stage up. I have a pair of 6.5" Eclipse 2ways in the rear, but I have cut the tweeters, [no highs] I use them more like mid bass drivers. 94
