Default Catalytic Converter - What cat do I need?!?

I've searched and searched and am coming up relatively empty on solid answers for my specific problem:

I have a D15B7 w/DC 4-2-1 and an Apexi WS2. I want a cat that will actually do something to help cut emissions....not only that, but pass smog in CA. I know Car-sound/Magnaflow make good cats, but I am truly lost as to which one to get for my application? CAn someone hit me with a direct link to what I need? Thanks!

do you have a cat on your car right now, or you need one to pass smog?

I have a cat right now on a stock exhaust system. From everything I've read, putting a hi-flo cat will net a little hp. But maybe I should just keep my stocker?

just keep the stock, if not i think any cat for those years should work. if not you caould always take it to a muffler shop to get it lined up.

It wouldn't be too restrictive to keep my stock unit with an aftermarket header and exhaust? Thanks for all the answers, much appreciated.

i dont think too much but a little. it also keeps your exhaust noise levels down. but if you still want a high flow just search on ebay or something. i have an obx high flow on mines i never had any problems with it.

unless you got boost, your not gonna notice anything by adding a hiflo cat.
