Default Too much oil?

I just recently changed the oil in my d16y8 and I think this time I put in a little too much. I don't think it's too much to worry about but it is past the measuring line on the dipstick. Is too much oil really bad for your engine?

i also did this (long story) it takes a whole 5 min to dran a bit out though. Just drain some out, it is better than replacing seals.

It's really not that much over the mark at all. At first I thought it was just excess from the tube it goes in or something.

I put in less than 4 at first. Ran the car. Measured it. Put some more in and started the car up again and it was at a good level. I check it 3 days later and it seems higher?
