SO my friend upgraded exhaust, and will sell me his apexi ws catback. will the system for the dx fit my EX with little or no modifications? let me know, any imput is much appreciated.

The dx's cat is located right on the exhaust manifold...The ex's cat is located farther downstream of the exhaust. But I don't think this will cause a problem. It should be fine. Maybe someone else can give you a more definite answer. Until then, search around on websites and see if they sell different exhaust for the 96-00 ex and the 96-00 dx.

 

The rear muffler will fit just fine. The midpipe will be too long from a dx to an ex. You can always have the midpipe custom cut at a muffler shop.....
