rattle @ shifter
hey guys i just got a LS integra.. and when im driving around the car makes a rattling sound at the shifter area. when i put pressure to the side the rattle goes away. does anybody have a hypothesis on the cause?
I have the exact same problem, I always put a heavy object next to the shifter when im cruising. It doesn't sound like its from under the car though. I am just to lazy to see whats loose.

I have the same exact problem. Mine started rattling when I switched to the B&M shifter. When I took the stock shifter out, I ripped the rubber boot at the base and I didnt replace it.....so in your case, take out the center console and check the rubber boots. It would be a good idea to check the bolts from the bottom to be safe. Ive driven mine for about 10k miles w/ the rattling and it hasnt got worse, I'm just used to it now.
