Default What amp u pushing?

So i was jw im not gangsta wigger lol for start but i was wondering what kinda of amp u guys are using. i got two JL Audio W3V3's, and they are in a 98dc2.

i have a 400watt kicker amp, and i was told i dont nearly even come close to pushing out the power i could with these speakers,

im more of wondering what power amp i should have to get the full power out of these subs, im not so worried about it bc i am content with how they hit now, but just interested to see how underpowered i have them. thanks

your amp could be pushing the subs just fine... it is dependent upon the box.. put the subs in a box that is too small and they may not come close to pushing them, too large and they could be overpowered already...

honestly, your amp is likely a good match for your subs, but we dont know the impedance of your subs or the model of your amp...

also you should check the impedence of the subs are they 2 ohm / 4 ohm or 6 ohm that does play a big factor on output
