i would be driving in traffic then sometimes when i clutch in the car would die. i see the rpm dropping all the way to zero after i clutch in that is when it dies. if it doesnt die it woul drop to like 200 rpm. what u think the problem is what i need to fix?

 

check all the simple stuff. fuel filter spark plugs and wires, fuel pump. alternator could be bad but i go with the cheap stuff first.

Make sure your car didn't jump time on the cam gears. Check ignition system (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, test coil & ignitor) and check ignition timing. Check your valve adjustment, check operation of the dashpot system if present, clean your FITV, IACV, check fuel pressure, and finally check your electrical system, alt. battery, and grounds.

There are ALOT of things that can cause your problem. Good luck.

 

check your map sensor. My friends was messed and it would die when he put in the clutch. and it was a 92 teg also

 

when im on neutral on a complete stop the the idol is normal. but when i trap on the gas the rpm would go up and when it come down it would drop below the 700-800 rpm the normal idol? what seems to be the problem

you may just need a tune up... whens the last time you changed your plugs, wires, rotor, etc...?
