possible to use stock cat with jdm 4-1?

Default possible to use stock cat with jdm 4-1?

my open header is still open lol

waiting on my 2.5 cat and hardware to come in

i was wondering if i can get the jdm 4-1 collector modified in some way to bolt up t my stock cat for now? anyone ever do this? is it possible to do by a muffler place?

I think you need some sort of flange. I'm just going to get a new cat when I get my header.

Yes, but I rather just spend the extra and get a high flow cat.

If you're impatient or do not have the funds at the moment, why don't you just get a test pipe made for your new setup. Just make sure the muffler shop doesn't weld it on...make sure they make flanges and everything is bolted in place.

High flow cat is the only way to go...environmentally friendly, no stinky smell, no black marks on the bumper, and no buzzy sounding exhaust.

Don't modify the header!!!! Just modify the cat. If you are using a cat, leave the anti-reversion chamber in the header.

inlinefour.com sent me a custom flange to make the 2.5 collector fit the stock cat. a lil pricey, but it can do the job

Just wait for the high flow cat. I dont think you'll see any hp gain (maybe3-4) with the header and stock cat. It isnt worth the money spent in my opinion
