Default Help wit the cat

I just did a motor swap and I'm having problems wit my headers connecting to my exhaust. I have a GSR swap wit DC Sport JDM hearders which is 2.5 outlet and my stock is 2.25. I'm not sure if I should go wit a new cat or a Test pipe.

jdm header is too long to bolt to stock cat, you need a jdm cat which is shorter.

You need to get a 2.50 to a 2.25 Reducer.

Go for a high flow cat. Magnaflow high flow cats are good but still pretty cheap.

OK thanks. would it be cheaper to buy a magnaflow or get a muffler shop to make one?

I had a muffler shop put a 2.5" magnaflow and reducer on for me for $100. I've had them do alot of work for me though so I'm not sure if he gave me a deal or not. Call around to a few shops and see what they charge.
