CAT length?
I have a EK4 hatch.
I just got a JDM length 5zigen pro-racer exhaust, and a JDM ITR header.
Now I need to modify my 2.5” Magnaflow cat so it fits in between. Can anyone tell me how long the cat needs to be to fit in between a JDM length exhaust and JDM ITR header?

Why not just shorten the exhaust in the B-pipe and leave the CAT the way it is, seems simpler to me. Mufflershop could knock that out in like 20 minutes.

best thing to do is to bring the car and parts to a muffler shop and they will cut and weld for u. what i did is i had them to cut and extend the pipe on cat converter with a new flange so my dc sports header will bolt on

i doubt cutting the cat would be the greatest idea. why not just slap everything on minus the cat, take it to the shop and have them make you a test pipe to the length needed? unless your intensions were to keep the cat.

We dont have muffler shops over here. So if someone knows the length, I can get someone weld on flangs for free. And yes, I need to use the cat or it will be illegal over here.

95 % of shops will not make you a test pipe. They are liable for emissions in most cases and if found guilty for faulty repair on a car's Catalytic converter (if needed) can be held in full liability.

I just got done doing pretty much the same thing at my college's welding shop. The best way is for you to measure it yourself. Jack your car up on jack stands, then roll on under your car with as many of the new pieces bolted on as possible and measure with a measuring tape. There should be a fair amount of play from the cat back portion of your exhaust, atleast there was for me. Hope this helps.
