Ok so she's an 01 R with roughly 75000 on the odometer as far as i know the clutch has not been replaced i'm the third owner and i've had all the mateniance done from 49.000 when i got it. This is what she's started doing recently if i'm slowing down in second gear and only in second gear it will pop out of gear if i try to shift into second when turning it wont go into gear and sometimes if i'm in reverse it wont move and the stick gets stuck in reverse. Also when i try to shift into second at a high rpm say 7-8k it sometimes grinds and will pop out of gear. I've checked the shift linkage its fine, I've checked the fluid also fine, the clutch master cylinder also checks out ok. So i'm thinkin maybe the synchros or something else internal but could the clutch being worn out be causing all these problems or is it time for a new tranny? or what else could it be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

most likely its your synchros. I had the same problem in my Civic.

yep, that's more than just synchros.
