Rough starts on '98 civic.....

Rough starts on '98 civic.....
98 civic, stock, well taken care of, 180k
When the cars been sitting overnight the initial start is rough. I turn the key and tries to turn over a few times then the starter grinds as if you were trying to start it while it was running.
Then i reprime the fuel system and it fires right up. Just wondering if theres anything i can do to fix this and if it poses any future problems...
