can i put a stage 2 camshaft on my stock ls

Well seeing as you have a DOHC engine, nope, you need two cams. And since different companies have different specs for their Stages, there's no way for us to advise you. Who knows what cams your looking at. Try to search, tons of info. Try searching for Crower 403 cams, those posts should fill you in.

You might want to look into the crower 403's but depends how you want to mod the LS engine as you might need to pickup aftermarket valve springs and retainers


are there specific cams your looking at?

valve spring upgrade is strongly advised as well as tuning. while ur messing with the head why not buy some sprockets too?

i'm having the same problem i want to buy crower stage two shaft with titanium valves an retainers on my da i got header stage 3 clutch e.c.u and wanted to know if stage two would b good if i wanted to turbo later

what is this 'stage 2'
Post up the link of the camshaft instead of this 'stage 1 and stage 2' bullshit

get dual valve springs and run 402-404 crower cams w/ tune.

would definetly look into it more and cams aren't going to do to much but tuning is huge
