I have a b16a2 head on a JDM GSR blcock and JDM GSR tranny and was wondering why is black smoke coming out when vtec hits and the swaps been in the car for some time...was wonderiing how too fix this problem

balance the fuel/air ratio
black smoke...
i heard that if car smokes black smog when car is fully warmed up, it might be the block problems but like i said, i Heard it so...

bad rpm idle maybe caused by bad idle valve...
on my H22 accord, it was idlen' bad, up n dow from 600-1k rpm
i took out the idle velve, took it apart, reverse the spring inside of valve, and cleaned it, it was fine..
i have saved cost for new idle velve and i didn even call gieco...

If I was too take it too a shop what should I tell them too inspect and how much am I planning on spending

 

depends usally 100 an hour in labor alone

 

really wont hurt it dude. rich is better than lean in most cases.
