today when i pulled my car out to go to school, its an auto tranny, it would rev between 1-2000 rpm while i was stopped, it would go down and almost die and then the engine would pick its self back up rapidly, also when i was coming home and i passed someone hitting vtec my friend said alot of black smoke came out, now i know i have a bad 02 sensor is that the problem or is it something else?

Yes I'm throwing a code 22 and 42 I think idk but the 22 is the vtec switch and the other one is my 02 sensor

Black smoke is running rich. Most likely o2 related
