b18c5 in a eg6
so im puting in a b18c5 in my hatchback and was wondering what i had to do to make the swap work is there any wireing that has do be done besides the v-tec wireing.
Should just bolt in.
The oil pump will have an extra sensor you don't need to worry about.
The biggest problems I foresee is
1. injector plugs may be different. Find some obd1 injectors they are all 240cc.
2. the alternator plugs may be different. You may need to source an obd1 alternator.
Your starter should be any problems.
You will need a P28 or P72 or some other chipped ecu to run a P73 Rom to keep obd1 capabilities.
Everything else should work. Using a 92-95 ex/si harness with a b16 swap I didn't have to extend any wires. I did have to take some of the sheathing off and reroute a couple.
