Default Converting obd2 motor to obd1?

I've searched but need clarification. I have a chance to pickup a low mile OBD2 2000 GSR complete change over and wanted to know how difficult it would be to swap it into my OBD1 94 ej1? I want to keep everything obd1 so I already have a P72 ecu.

According to this website http://www.ff-squad.com/techne...2.htm All I need is the P72. The shock tower plugs match up (pin swapping for iab/purge) for the most part. Just some obd2 plugs on the engine harness will not connect to the obd1 chassis harness.

Would this obd2 engine to obd1 chassis be acceptable with the california BAR? I would like to certify it. Or should I just use a OBD1 engine and be done. Its just that obd2 engines are more plentiful. What's necessary to convert the engine to obd1? injector clips, dizzy? what else...

I'm in the process of doing the exact opposite...although I don't know why...

I think that all the OBD-1 stuff you will need is: Injectors, dizzy, alternator (I think) and the OBD-1 P72 ecu...can't think of anything else at the moment.

I wish I would have just converted to OBD-1....
