please help
Could be from a number of problems.
If theres soot from the exhaust on your back bumper, it means your running rich, so to solve that, there are a number of things you can do.
- Put some LucasOil additive in with your next oil change to help slow any ring leakage. Helps fairly well.
- Replace your spark plugs, one or more may be fouled or even dead. Also, have your distributor checked for any bad wiring, and your fusebox next to the battery as well.
- If your running an old, or even no CAT, that would be a reason why.
- Make sure your map senor is running right, if it werent, then your ECU is putting more fuel in than you need, which would cause you to run too rich.
- Make sure your running the correct ECU.
