Default Sick 96 Civic EX 1.6Vtec

My civic was stolen, came home sick & has had ALOT of work done. It's been 2+ yrs. Last time it started it didn't turn over fluidly & it ran like crap, but it started. I've had to replace a rod bearing, distributor, several sensors & reset the valve clearances. Now it's tryin 2 start, turnin over fluidly, even tryin for a few seconds after I let go of the key. Still it's not starting. I've tried everything I can think of.

Ok, this is what I got from it. His civic was stolen and he got it back. He has had a lot of work done to it. It's been over 2 years since the last time it started but it ran like crap. He's replaced a rod bearing, distributor, several sensors & reset the valve clearances. The car is turning over but it will not start. What else should he do?

I think its priceless that this tard posted 5 hours ago, and apparently hasn't checked back at all since he hasn't posted. What is the point of creating a H-T account, posting once, and then not worrying what people have to say? Unless he was too embarrassed about his first post.

You know maybe he has a life outside of honda tech. Maybe he had to go to work or an emergency came up, plus its easter, maybe he is with his family or something. Don't bash the guy b/c he hasn't checked back in a few hours. That's my own opinion.
later,
robert

Well considering its 3 PM on Easter Sunday, he may want to get his car running for next week. I would assume its a primary form of transportation for him. Besides, this is exactly how 90% of new users spend their first post. There are plenty of capable people here that would be glad to help. But when you write something in a 3rd grade manner and expect for a technical explanation, its kind of hard to help. To the OP, I apologize for calling you a tard, but in the future, take the extra 30 seconds to slow down and ask a specific question. This thread has been open for nearly 8 hours and nothing was accomplished. Instead of us trying to discypher his text into a way we can help him, it would be better to just ask a specific question. I'm not sure if there is a page when you create a new username on H-T, but there should be a notice in big bold letters stating:

-If you have an issue with anything tech related: SEARCH
-If search provides nothing, create a properly titled thread explaining the situation.
-Avoid ridiculous abbreviations and words such as: HELLA, SICK, and PWNED

Actually, I'm not a he. I'm a she!!! AND Yes I have a very full life away from the internet & my civic. I only work on my civic once & awhile n my spare time(NOT ALL THE TIME), as I have another car & a GSXR. It's been what, a week & a half?? I figured if I left a post describing my situation maybe sum1 else has dealt with the same issues & they'd run across it. Glad I didn't hold my breath. Oh & FYI, I'm a very accomplished technician, but like surgeons don't operate on their loved ones, I'm far 2 overbearing on myself when it comes 2 my civic. Just curious though, how many of u really sat at ur pc all day just 2 c when I'd check 4 a definitive response while u tried drew ur own picture of who I am & what I'm about? I mean, had ne of u realized I'm a woman, waiting around could've been justified. Other than that, if social situations r that uncomfortable 4 u, perhaps u should spend sum quality time with ur cars instead of wasting so much energy trying 2 degrade sum1.

Generally when sum1 ends a statement with I've tried everything I can think of; others offer options & advise, helping solve the problem. SO, getting back 2 the CIVIC ISSUE at hand, I'm guessing no1 has ne idea of what I could do, check, or adjust 2 get my civic started & idling on it's own?? Since my original post, it's also gotten an oil change(2 check 4 metal shavings & ect), new spark plugs(even though the 1's it had were new when it was stolen), a fuel pump, fuel sock, several relays. The old fuel has been removed, replaced & treated. I have but haven't installed a new fuel filter & sparkplug wireset.

Sorry if I'm not as eager 2 check 4 ne useful replies as every1 seemed 2 b 2 make assumptions about me.

I'm sorry. I don't speak the following fake languages:

1. ebonics
2. leet
3. txt
4. retard

Have you considered changing the starter, because that's all I can glean from your splendid posts: Your car doesn't start.

How about you convey yourself like you have an education further than 7th grade?

So what exactly doesn't work? Does the car turn over, is there spark, is there fuel? I don't know how you think the internet community is going to automatically just somehow guess what's wrong with your car, and you're not doing yourself any favors catching an attitude to the guys who can actually help if you'd give them some information.

P.S. The crap that you're typing is not proper english.

^^^ Haha for sure... Ok to the OP, the quickest way to get it fixed is

1. Go to your local Honda dealership
2. Find the ugliest/fattest guy there (these are typically the ones who never get laid)
3. Wear a low cut shirt and show some cleavage ( a skirt helps too)
4. Bat your eye lashes, lick your lips, and bite your finger (twirl your hair if necessary) and just flirt a little.

If the 4 above steps do not work that there is no hope, because women have a "Vagina" and men will always do whatever they can to stab it... glad i could help

I would replace the fuel filter and check all the fuses to make sure that none of them are blown........I don't know what else to tell you........maybe a bad distributor?

try spraying starting fluid(ether) into your throttle body while having someone crank it......if it fires up, then it is a fuel related problem most likely.........Also, you shouldn't get an attitude with people on here, especially guys like Eran and Ricey McRicerton, because they know alot a **** and can offer good advice.......good luck
