how long do oil pumps last?
oem type r/gsr/etc.... revving to 9k(if that matters)...500whp etc....
im going on 4years....how long have you guys had your pumps in before changing them?

Four years is too long IMO. Not to mention I am sure in those four years you have put quite a few "street" miles on it 
I have about 10,000 miles on mine and will be replacing it here shortly

Oil pumps last a long time at 9k rpm and under. You start to have a problem when you go over 9k rpm, but if you have 4 years on it it sounds like time to change it LOL.

i tried asking in the prelude section, but no one replied.
if i take off my oil filter and crank the motor and no oil comes out, is this 100% without a doubt a blown oil pump??
