so lately when my temp gauge holds the hand half way saying my car is fully warmed and what not, when i am at a stop and try to go my car will lag and i will get very little response and then a couple seconds later its like vtec hit almost... usually happends between 1k - 2.5k .. i was thinking mayb my e bay intake isnt sucking in enough air or the air is too hot? what do you guys think? car is a 00 em1

70k.. only happens once in a while when my temp says its a lil more than half way on the meter

 

Shouldn't go that high. On my 99 ex, it goes to about 1/3 the way. It never reachs half way nor does it ever go past it.

Maybe you got a bad sensor/thermostat or w/e?

 

yeah i actually wonder if i even have a thermostat once in a while... but that wouldnt make my car bog would it?

Give your car a tune-up.

 

Your car should be reaching the half way point...let alone exceeding it. My car gets about half an inch away from the half way point, and NEVER goes above that. If it does, I know theres a problem.

 

Mine reaches about 38%-45%.. and get a K&N filter you cheap ***.
