yes you can....
but are you looking for a diy?
is that what your real question is...?
it will require a lot of fabricating unless you get a new dash and get all parts needed to hook a/c..

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com they have an a/c kit, its supposed to come w/ everything. youll have to look around on there to find it. i dont think it was very expensive either.

It was an option, at least for the '92-'95 Civics; my '94 CX has A/C.

yes you can install a a/c system in your 94 cx. it is a straight bolt on affair with NO FABRICATION!
you will want to get an a/c system from a 94-95 civic, being that 94-95 systems are r134, prior to 1994 was the r12 system. as long as it's from 94-95 you will have no problems.
i bought mine used on ebay either from
http://www.hondaacurasalvage.com/
or from
discovery auto parts.
mine came off of a 95 ex, ran me $350 w/shipping. everything came included to do the install.
good luck.

i really don't know exactly how that works. you might want to call and find out. they do sell a kit, but the kit i'm thinking of it to convert the r12 system (found on civic's prior to 1994) to the r134 system.
looking at the price $560, seems alittle on the low side. a compressor alone will run you about $300, evaporator $150, condensor $200, drier $40.
and these are for all new parts, which the dealer only sells new parts.
