yes if you are ready to sacrifice confort. Also if droped too much your stock shocks wont last long. By the way what kind of coil overs do you have?

I did that and I'm going back to my stock springs tomorrow. Don't do it. It's a waste of time, and it can actually make your vehicle dangerous. It's so bouncy that I often catch air (as in my body from the seat, not the car) when i hit bumps or divets at high velocities. It's extremely distracting and you can easily lose control of the car.

Usualy coil over already have springs. are you telling us that you just have the screw type adjustment?
Aftermarket shocks would be a thing to consider if you want to lower your car and use coil overs.
Don't forget, the more money you put in your suspension, the more you will feel good about your investment.

well actualy its what i am doing right now. I bought some tokico illuminas shocks and lowering spring set. doh i am not a big fan of coil overs.
The difference in the stock springs and lowered springs is that since there is not the same space for movement, usualy the springs are stronger. Having a stronger spring rate causes it to save the same amount of energy as a normal spring in a shorter space. and since the stock shocks are only able to absorb a fraction of the amount on a distance, the suspension deploys a little more. That what causes the bounce. Having better shocks will prevent that return of energy.
In short: no it wont be worth at all.
