Default Question about suspension on EG6 (SIR).

What kind of suspension do the stock EG6 SIR civics have? Where could I pick up one? Thanks

I'm not sure what suspension those cars use. However, I can guarantee that Ground Control coil overs with with Koni or Tokico shocks would be better.

And so you'd rather get shitty suspension from a JDM car for cheaper? LOL. ******* noobs...I swear to God.

No its not necessarily that. I just thought the ride height of them was perfect.

They don't come with anything "special" if that's what you're wondering.

they come the same way our civic ex/si have. the only difference is the rear lca, which is the same as the itr and minor caliper specs that's it, nothing to brag about. your better off getting a aftermarket set up, maybe a nice strut/spring will do you fine.

not everything jdm is different from usdm.

This is incorrect. The SiR never had the ITR-type LCA. The rear calipers are the same as our Si and the fronts are the same as our EX.

hmm...the reason why i say this is because, when i got my front clip, there was the rear suspension with it. on the rear trailing arm there was itr lca's attached to it. i automatically thought the sir2 came with this, being that it was there on the clip. i guess the previous owner must have switched them up.

I went through the JDM EPC yesterday and I was surprised that they do come with the ITR-type LCA. But the VTi EG6 from the UK/Europe comes with the regular LCA. But the brakes aren't special on them.

no, yeah i know the brakes aren't anything special, but when i got the clip, i was lucky enough that the front suspension was still intacted and the rear suspension was just thrown on the inside of the clip. being that they were honda civic suspension i came to the conclusion that the lca were to the eg6.

that's cool though, it's all good!
hey, what is a JDM EPC?
