so recently i was having problems with my clutch felt like there was air in the line all the time and it would make wierd noises and slip sometimes,
so im driving and all asudden i hear a loud metal scraping noise and then i feel the clutch pedal get firm and then a pop noise and the pedals soft and spongey and the let off point is about 1 inch off the ground.
so im like.. alright ive been expecting this no big deal just make it home change the clutch over the wekeend.
So im getting home and i smell burning gear oil.. " expletive "
stop the car and look under it sure enough a steady stream of gear oils spewing out. i get home jack up the car and see all the oils coming from the dust plate that covers the bottom of the flywheel because of school work ive only put in acouple hours of work in and havent gotten the motor /tranny out yet, any one wanna shed some light on the situation if something like this happened to them before?

i think your transmission is fucked. better start pulling it off.

It could be several things, clutch glazed over, splined broken on you're flywheel. You're pressure plate could be Effed.

Get the clutch out and find out for realz.
